I wanted to say that a friend of mine died a few days ago. He was 26 years old, and died of the stomach flu. He was one of those quirky unique people and to know him was to love him. When you met him he burrowed this spot into your life and without him a void is left behind. When i look at his facebook page i keep waiting for a call saying, ha just kidding guys. Sadly it will not happen and our quirky lovable friend was taken away. A man who did not possess a mean bone in his body, who was a very devoted catholic, who was brilliant, and thought provoking. In my five years of knowing him, it was much too short and 26 years is too short of a time to live in this world.

So my friend when we play Settlers of Catan, and munchkin we will think of you. When we eat food that you were allergic to like mangoes we will think of you. When we watch tv shows that remind us of you like Big Bang Theory we will think of you.

Think of you and miss you dearly. See you one day, but for now it is goodbye.

I blog here because i "know" you guys but i feel like the people on here i can share my secrets with. It also helps that none of my family is on here. My last "safe" spot. That aside i want to share my sad story.
My 14 year old step-sister started her freshman year in September, she is really smart, pretty and has a lot going for her. She was living with her mom, her mom's boyfriend and her sister who is 16 and a half-sister. Before this warp back a few years, she grew up early life (about 5ish) with her mom & dad who were married. Both got incarcerated and the two went to their grandparents who were not loving, caring, and never showed affection. Her mom went off to build a life for herself and Jeff (my step-dad) eventually got his life back together and is with my mom and has been for about 7 or so years. We got faith when she was 9 i believe. They had to fight the grandparents for faith and eventually won, jump ahead to about a year and a half ago when faith wanted to live with her mom, so they let her. Her sister Caprice was living there and though they did not get along reconnected that family. Then cue Shay (faith's mom) who was sick all the time, finding out that she had Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and has been battling that for the past 9 or so months. Cue This past Thanksgiving (less then a month ago) the girls get told that hospice is coming in and they get everything spelled out to them in that regard but nothing else. Cue the Sunday after Thanksgiving being told that their mom is dying and she has days to 6 months to live. From that point i kept pushing faith to tell her mom everything she wanted to tell her, not to hold back, write down the limited memories she had with her. Cue yesterday faith is on the way home from my mom & jeff's she gets home and is told that she has minutes to hours left with her mom. The two girls open gifts with their mom, and then she dies within 2 hours of that. This was last night. I called my sister because i have grown very fond of her over these past years, and she tells me what happens. It was that point that i decided that i was going today to pick her up to be her support and her rock. I went with mom and jeff helped load her stuff, and was her shoulder today. Not just that but i was her distraction, we laughed, she cried we set up her new room and she told me how she felt. She said her mom looked like a zombie, and she kept her 16 yr old sister away. I feel for her, the two times i found out once when i heard her mom was dying and then again when she died i cried for her. I can't even imagine being 14 and losing a mother i barely even knew, let alone the one i know. She said she slept next to her moms hospice bed last night after she died. She has a whole lot of grieving to go through and i want to be there as much as i can. I am going to the funeral Thursday, and i hope she stays like the person she is. I know this will change her i just hope it makes her stronger but does not change the person i have grown to love. Rest in Peace Shay, and know your daughters love you.

Graduating from college & going about to apply for graduate school. Having the balls to take the next step. My family is not very big on education so the fact that i did... My mom's family i am the first to graduate from a university. In all of the families if i get into the grad school i will be the first to go. :)

made it home safe, got a kitty kiss first thing in the door. Was greeted with 2 presents & cards with money for wedding and birthday, have a gift waiting for us at the post office. Off to crazy wedding stuff!

That is how i feel.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AAAARGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

So today we got 2 letters in the mail from our landlord.
1. June 10th inspection at 2:30 pm, us & our animals cannot be present. And monday June 8th, the landlord is coming over for a preliminary inspection himself.
2. If we renew our lease,  it will go up 20 more a month thus making it 695 a month. or $240 more a year.

The problem i have with the 1st one is A. We are leaving for Tennessee that day, but now we can't since we will be gone for a week and need to make sure the cats are safe. I called and he said he cannot change the date or time. Thus we can't leave until after he's done thus running into rush hour traffic.... Yay. *sarcasm* Plus we have to move/get rid of some of us stuff & rearrange rooms for access to outlets, all doors, etc etc.... (every room needs to be changed) So we are planning on doing an early move into a storage unit the next two weeks trying to get all non needed stuff in the next 2 months out. *yay again* He also does not know about our number of Cats. Also since we cannot be there, we pretty much will be sitting ducks waiting to leave..... *sarcasm again* He also is coming the monday before we leave during his lunch break to do a preliminary inspection to make sure he won't get fined thus we can't work yay *sarcasm* This is such a huge pain in the ass, i can't wait to be gone.

Problem with the second one, aside from the 20 dollar increase, we also are pretty sure that we have to get rid of Kaeci (the dog) if we sign. He told the neighbors no to a dog after saying maybe when they moved in, and he said in the letter that he wanted a no dog house. *grumbles* again Yay so excited. So moving is not an option but a necessity, it will be nice to save over 1,000 a month definately. Just wish it was now.......

So as you all know this year is a time for change & growth, etc. Well Jesse and i are probably adding something new to our list..... My mom is buying a house and is closing on it June 30th. She already got approved for the mortgage and the home owner said yes to her offer and they signed the forms etc. etc. So That bit aside, Jesse and i have been paying over 1,000 a month with utilities and that is on a good month. With my mom moving to her new place her place at her job where she gets to live on site will be vacant.  The deal she struck with us is me work at her job 1/2 day friday, saturday & monday and we get to live there rent & utility free thus saving us 1,000 a month =) It also allows us to work our jobs substituting but allows flexibility if we need to go out of town she will cover and vice-versa. Pretty awesome right? Our lease is up here August 15th. So Jesse and i are crossing our fingers and hoping that this all goes through, we would gain so much space and we would have no neighbors. (even though we like our neighbors) 

So wish us luck if it goes through 1st/2nd week of July we would be moving into our new place!! =) 

Another cool thing is i have 10,000 in student loans, + 300 in credit card debt & Jesse has 2,000 in credit card debt we could pay those off in no time. 
& travel... =) 

Almost forgot, i am getting a replacement machine for my finger stick machine to test my coumadin levels which means i would be doctor free! (at least mostly) 

 Home from con, 3 *stars* were wonderful, so happy to have met them. Michael Hogan (tigh) was wonderful and kept addressing me as Amber (which he said was a pretty name), found out he likes to kiyak, got a photo of him arm each other and his head on my head :). Can't wait to post the photos. Aaron Douglas(tyrol) really liked Jesse's comics & said when he is done with comics that he reads, he leaves them behind on the set for other actors & crew to read so they get around so cool :) Plus i got him to pose with Jesses comic! &, he likes to golf. John Schneider     (Pa kent, and bo duke-dukes of hazzard old one) was great, genuinely friendly and just an awesome guy. Our table is diagonally from us. Tomorrow Jesse & his dad will be manning the table at Motorcity Comic Convention tomorrow, i will return for Sunday. Tomorrow Carrie Fisher (leia) will be there along with some other old hotties from back in the day, doug jones will be there along with a variety of people that i have no idea who they are...

 saw star trek and.... LOVED IT! I give it an A! Was not bored a single second, great character development great story * applauds* Makes me want to watch the series... kind of.

I am not a trekkie. I have only seen 1 movie i think the khan one, and i have not seen more then 1 episode of the show (whale one). Jesse told me that burger king had these cool cups set of 4, for 2 bucks each with a value meal purchase, so i said okay lets go! The 1st place(off washtenaw) had 3 of the cups but no SPOCK! I got the veggie burger and we went to DQ but when we got back in the car Kaeci (the dog) had eaten my sandwich and fries!  We then went to the ellsworth one, but No spock! Then i thought of one off state street... No Spock! Then we went to the one off stadium other side of Ann Arbor.. They said they had spock, then no spock but we thought that would be the last so i got a sandwich but they just gave me a bun with lettuce and tomato when i tried to say uh wheres my gardenburger they tried to argue and i said fine give me back my money, and grabbed the fries and drink and took my money back! (they wanted to charge me 2 more dollars for a garden burger seriously...) Then i remembered one in saline off platt & michigan avenue... No spock! Finally on the way home i called our friend Brett of boomtown scabs comic (look it up) and he sad there were two burger kings in Belleville one off rawsonville and one off belleville rd. At rawsonville THEY HAD SPOCK!!! (they also messed up my veggie burger like the last place, but they were nice and fixed it) So we have the set of 4 glasses which are pretty sweet looking! <- This coming from a non-trekkie. We are going to see the movie tomorrow. The cups have the old cast & The new cast & frosted in some parts pretty cool. 
Who knows maybe SYLAR will sway me, man candy can always sway me to nerdier sides of things.....
SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, Smallville, Lois & Clark, Quantum Leap, Doctor Who, Torchwood, and other nerdy shows. 
All shows that were swayed by man candy. ;) 

Anyways thats all folks, rawsonville rd said they had 10 cases of each so get em while you can!
